990 Filing Deadlines - 2021
Use the chart below to determine when your annual filing (990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, 990-N) is due in 2021.
To request an automatic 6-month extension to file your 990, 990-EZ or 990-PF, use Form 8868. This must be filed by the original due date for your 990 form.
NOTE: There is not an extended due date for 990-N filings. There is not a penalty for filing the 990-N late, unless the organization has not submitted their annual filing for three consecutive years. Any organization that does not file their annual 990 (990, 990-PF, 990-EZ, 990-N) for three consecutive years is subject to automatic revocation of their tax-exempt status.
